Oklahoma Gin is a type of Gin Rummy, which is a very interesting skill-based card game for two (up to four) players. It’s good to know that this game available on RummyRoyal is played with one standard deck of 52 cards without the jokers.

If you play against one oponent, each player receives 10 cards, but if there are three or four opponents then each player receives 7 cards.

The oklahoma gin is a very simple game and easy to understand. Your goal is to te the first player that gets rid of all the cards from your hand. To do this thing, you must meld the cards into sets and runs and lay them down .A set can contain three or four cards of the same value, while a run can have three or more consecutive cards from the same suit.

The winner of the Oklahoma Gin game is the player which accumulate the highest amount of points. In order to do this, the player must end the game in one of the three methods:

1.With the “Gin” method, one player must create valid melds from the cards that he has in the hand and discard the last card to the knock area. The player mustn’t have any deadwood cards, but if he has then he will receive penalty points.

2.With the  “Knock” method , the player must meld all the cards from the hand and his deeadwood overall count must be lower than 10. The player must discard a card to the knock area.

3.The last method, “Undercut”, is used if your deadwood count is equal to the knocker’s or even lower. You must know that the “Undercut” method can help you win the game, because the original knocker can suffer a penalty of 25 points.
